Faculty Pub Night is a series hosted by the William H. Hannon Library where LMU Faculty members share their recent publications or creative works. Each forum allows the author to present, discuss, and answer questions about his or her work in a casual setting. Copies of the author’s work will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Rubén Martinez, Professor of English and Fletcher Jones Chair of Creative Writing, will be discussing his recent publication Desert America: Boom and Bust in the New Old West (Metropolitan, 2012). This event is free and open to the public. Pub snacks and refreshments will be served. RSVP is not required, but we appreciate you letting us know you're planning on coming by completing the form below. LMU faculty: if you anticipate that you will be asking your students to attend for class credit or discussion, please notify Mahnaz Ghaznavi at 310-338-4301 or mahnaz.ghaznavi@lmu.edu, so that we can coordinate seating and refreshments accordingly. |
